Our Purpose

Omaia exists to transform maternal mental health worldwide.

Our mission is simple yet urgent: no parent should go through pregnancy, birth, or early parenthood feeling alone, unsupported, or unseen.

Emotional support should be as fundamental as medical care - and AI technology can finally make it scalable and accessible for all.

Why start with pregnancy
Pregnancy is a moment of profound vulnerability and transformation. The right support here improves birth outcomes and builds lifelong emotional resilience.

What we’re building
A trusted companion that helps people develop self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and everyday mental well-being — grounded in science, delivered through technology.

Our vision
To lead the world in digital maternal mental health care — setting a new standard for how technology delivers evidence-based support to millions.

Impact
Better birth experiences. Healthier parents. Stronger families. Benefits that ripple through communities and society as a whole.

Our Commitment to a Healthier Parenthood.

Meet the Team

  • Linnéa Belding Cofounder Omaia

    Linnéa Belding, Cofounder

My path to founding Omaia came from years of carrying something unnamed. While building tech and AI startups across the US, UK, and Europe, everything worked on paper - during pregnancy and early motherhood, it didn’t. Anxiety and postpartum depression followed, subtle and easy to miss. Care existed, but it was fragmented and reactive.

Omaia exists to offer preventative, adaptive emotional support before silent struggles become lasting harm.

  • Nina Larsen Cofounder Omaia

    Nina Larsen, Cofounder

Founding Omaia was a necessity born from lived experience within a fractured maternal health system. During my daughter’s birth, I knew something was wrong, but the system moved too slowly. I lost my daughter - and nearly my own life.

Omaia exists to close the gap between clinical success and maternal safety, treating intuition as a vital sign and ensuring no family faces an avoidable tragedy alone.
